Spider House Target Analysis


            The demographics of this website reaches out to male and female 18 – 55 year old demographic of a mobile and migrating nature.  The music and art composite is geared towards a classically and traditionally educated professionals and artists, as well music or art enthusiasts who’s income level is above average to affluent. This music enthusiast is incorporated into the hobbies list. The occupation which coincides with income level of above average results in more of a professional type or a artist who has a comprehensive knowledge of specific genres from a practical sense.

Description: A professional male of middle years with a traditional extended education and an above average income, seeks an arena to listen to live music around peers who share knowledge of quality music as well as quality atmosphere and conversation

Description: A female traditional 25 year old  artist with a traditional fine arts educational background with a less than steady income  from the service industry who seeks a forum to display artwork of her own as well as seeing contemporary pieces of peer. A dial up user or whatever is available from Mac to PC which commonly leads to lower resolution and assorted browsers of low grade quality

Task 1 : Find an outlet to display pieces.

Task 2 : Find other artists and others who share common interests.




Changes to Website


The changes to the website would include the change of the brand in regards to font to be more legible along with a different color contrast to make the brand stand out. The home page would be redone to be more descriptive to what the Spider House is about. A more definitive stated purpose would be included.
A navigation search dedicated to making genre searches easier with an emphasis on organization to event posts as well as information on featured shows and artists. Advertisements in terms of branding and their intended purpose could be highlighted through a more planned approach of color usage and contrast to highlight  desired focal points.
